Day 36 How Disciplines Help

The person who intends to will what God wills begins with what God has said He wills.

Disciplines make room for the Word and the Spirit to workin in us. They permit destructive feelings (veiled by standard excuses and accepted practices) to be perceived and dealt with as our will rather than God's will.

"Our extreme busyness may be revealed as inability to trust God..." Dallas Willard get out of my head.

I just heard someone say that in reality busyness is laziness in disguise. The meaning is that I am too lazy to do the hard stuff God requires or wants to do so I busy myself with busyness.

Discipline is something that I have been working at by doing this book Renovation it forces me to read everyday the word of God. I was also asked to read a passage everyday 2 peter 1:5-9 and I have been doing that as well. But there are other parts of discipline that I need to work at one is making time for ME by doing whats rite for me go for walks, go to the gym, and I need to learn how to prioritze things in my life so my days are not so full of busyness.
